મહિલાઓને આત્મનિર્ભર બનાવવા માટે સમાજ કલ્યાણ વિભાગ દ્વારા દેશની ગરીબ અને શ્રમજીવી મહિલાઓને સ્વરોજગાર માટે સિલાઈ મશીન આપવામાં આવે છે. આ અંતર્ગત 40 વર્ષથી ઓછી વયની મહિલાઓને મફત સિલાઈ મશીનનો લાભ આપવામાં આવે છે. જણાવી દઈએ કે સમાજ કલ્યાણ વિભાગની મફત સિલાઈ મશીન આપવાની આ યોજના દેશના ઘણા રાજ્યોમાં ચાલી રહી છે. જેમાં મુખ્યત્વે હરિયાણા, મધ્યપ્રદેશ, કર્ણાટક, મહારાષ્ટ્ર, ઝારખંડ, બંગાળ, ગુજરાત, બિહાર, ઉત્તર પ્રદેશ વગેરે રાજ્યોમાં મફત સિલાઈ મશીન યોજના શરૂ કરવામાં આવી છે.

સમાજ કલ્યાણ વિભાગ દ્વારા નિ:શુલ્ક સિલાઈ મશીનનો લાભ માત્ર એવી ગરીબ અને અસહાય મહિલાઓને આપવામાં આવશે જેઓ સ્વરોજગાર કરીને પરિવારનો ખર્ચ ચલાવવા માંગે છે. જેમની પાસે રોજગારનું કોઈ સાધન નથી. આ યોજનામાં સરકાર દ્વારા વિધવા અને શારીરિક રીતે વિકલાંગ મહિલાઓને મફત સિલાઈ મશીનનો લાભ આપવામાં આવે છે. આ અંતર્ગત 40 વર્ષથી ઓછી ઉંમરની વિધવા/બીપીએલ પરિવારની મહિલાઓને તેનો લાભ આપવામાં આવશે.

પ્રધનમંત્રી ફ્રી સિલાઈ મશીન યોજના માટે નિયમો અને શરતો :

  • સમાજ કલ્યાણ વિભાગની મફત સિલાઈ મશીન યોજના માટે કેટલીક પાત્રતા અને શરતો નક્કી કરવામાં આવી છે જે નીચે મુજબ છે
  • આર્થિક રીતે નબળા BPL કેટેગરીની તમામ મહિલાઓ મફત સિલાઈ મશીન યોજના માટે પાત્ર છે.
  • મફત સિલાઈ યોજનાનો લાભ લેવા માટે મહિલાઓની ઉંમર 20 થી 40 વર્ષની વચ્ચે હોવી જોઈએ.
  • અરજદાર મજૂર મહિલાઓના પતિની વાર્ષિક આવક રૂ. 12,000 થી વધુ ન હોવી જોઈએ.
  • મફત સિલાઈ મશીન યોજનાના લાભો
  • દેશના શહેરી અને ગ્રામીણ વિસ્તારોની નોકરી કરતી મહિલાઓને મફત સિલાઈ મશીન યોજનાનો લાભ આપવામાં આવશે.
  • મફત સિલાઈ યોજના દ્વારા, મજૂર મહિલાઓ સિલાઈ મશીન મેળવી શકશે અને પોતાનું અને તેમના પરિવારનું ગુજરાન કરી શકશે.
